This is an exploratory tool, not advice

Practice Forecast is provided for informational and planning purposes only. Outputs are estimates generated from user-supplied assumptions and publicly available reference data. Nothing produced by this tool constitutes financial, tax, legal, accounting, investment, clinical, regulatory, or professional advice of any kind. You should consult qualified professionals — including a CPA, attorney, licensed financial advisor, and your state licensing board — before making any business, financial, or clinical decision based on the outputs you see here.

Reference data may be stale or inaccurate

The tool uses Medicare fee schedule snapshots, published Medicaid and commercial payer ratios, vendor pricing from third-party services (EHR platforms, malpractice insurers, billing services, psychotherapy platforms), and credentialing timelines compiled from publicly available sources. All of this data can change without notice. Rates, payer mixes, credentialing requirements, CPT code billability, and reimbursement policies are set by CMS, state Medicaid programs, commercial insurers, managed care organizations, and third-party vendors — none of which are affiliated with this tool. We make no representation that the data embedded in, or displayed by, this tool is current, complete, or correct as of the moment you view it. Verify anything that matters directly with the payer, vendor, or regulatory agency before relying on it.

No responsibility for third-party or policy changes

We are not responsible for changes made by CMS, state Medicaid agencies, commercial payers, managed care organizations, licensing boards, platform companies (Headway, Alma, SimplePractice, Insureon, etc.), or any other third party. This includes, without limitation, changes to fee schedules, credentialing procedures, scope-of-practice rules, CPT code definitions or billability, platform take rates, subscription pricing, and professional licensing requirements. We are also not responsible for outcomes arising from state-specific or locality-specific rules that differ from model assumptions.

No warranty; use at your own risk

The tool is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the authors or providers of this tool be liable for any claim, damages, lost profits, lost revenue, business interruption, or other loss or liability, whether in an action of contract, tort, or otherwise, arising from, out of, or in connection with the tool or the use or other dealings in the tool.

No PHI, no client data

Do not enter protected health information (PHI), client identifiers, or any data about a specific patient. The tool is designed to model practice economics at the practice level using aggregated assumptions only. If you use the optional “Ask Claude” feature, your question and the current forecast state (non-PHI numeric inputs and summary outputs) are sent to the Anthropic API for that request. See Anthropic’s usage policies for their handling of submitted data.

This is a tool to explore

Treat the outputs as a starting point for your own thinking, not as a projection you can act on. Change assumptions, stress-test with low/high sensitivity values, and cross-check against your own payer contracts, bookkeeping records, and professional advisors.

By using this tool, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to the foregoing.
